HELLO! I'm KD (I go by my initials) and I live in Cheyenne Wyoming. I grew up in Colorado and moved to Cheyenne a few years ago, and I love living in Wyoming because the people are amazing, the cost of living is so much more affordable, and we have lots of fun things to do plus there's less traffic.
I'm a REALTOR, and engaged to Jason Caughey, the Fire Chief of Laramie County Fire District #2 and a dog mom to Moe the miniature Australian Shepard who isn't really that mini. You'll usually find me at home endlessly checking my email and the new listing hot sheet (I really love real estate) unless I have meetings or showings. You will usually find Moe begging for a game of fetch or staring out the window as the neighborhood kids walk to and from school.
Jason and I love the outdoors so you can find us skiing/snowboarding at Snowy Range and Steamboat or in the summer mountain biking, fishing, and stand up paddle boarding at Curt Gowdy State Park. I used to teach snowboarding in Vail Colorado and I still occasionally teach at Snowy Range. Jason is on Ski Patrol at Snowy most Fridays. We love that Cheyenne is conveniently located near great skiing (and Denver International Airport).
I'm passionate about educating people about real estate and there is nothing I love more than the friendships that form over the course of buying or selling a home. I deeply care about my clients and I want them to have the best experience possible buying and selling their homes. I love staying up-to-date on the market. I'm also a big fan of building new "dream" homes and I have great relationships with all of the local builders.
The market in Cheyenne moves pretty quickly, especially the best deals and I plan to make sure you keep up! We will look at homes the day they list and have offers written within hours of your decision to buy. I embrace technology, so expect emails and esigning (unless you hate technology). If you are moving from out of town I will create quick video tours for you when anything new lists that you cannot see in person.
I bring a strong business background to my real estate skills. I graduated college with a double major in Business Administration and Psychology. The Psychology degree comes in handy when negotiating deals and my business degree had emphasis in finance and marketing. The finance background is helpful in calculating return on investment, cap rates, and appreciation. The marketing background helps when putting together listings, designing postcards and mailings, buying and testing online ads, and maximize marketing dollars. All of my listings receive a full and customized marketing plan depending on the area and target customer.
The main thing I want you to remember about me is that I am here to help! I love my job and I am really looking forward to meeting you and helping you buy or sell a home.
